One of the stranger aspects is Bill Bengston mentioning that some clients will hate you after a successful cure. Its hard to believe but I got to see it first hand. One day strolling thru Hamburg on my way from breakfast I met an old acquaintance from my younger days with whom I had been hanging out in our local pub, drinking beer and playing pool. He looked like shit. Upon inquiry it became clear he had gone thru a bout of prostrate cancer years ago, then treated with radiation, and he had a recurrence. His prognosis was dire. I offered to prepare some water and also told him that my method may not work because he had radiation treatment in the past but it would not harm him either. I also told him not to make tea from it (he is british). Eventually I delivered 5 litre of water and went my ways, and he promised to keep me informed of the result, even if negative.
He never updated me and when I met him in the streets a few years later he changed to the other side of the road after he recognized me. When I caught up with him he was very squeamish, yes, his cancer was gone but he had forgotten to write the email - and it was obvious that he was VERY uncomfortable in my presence. And of course he had made tea from it. Apparently cooking does not diminish the effectiveness.
I kind of developed my own theory why this behaviour seems frequent. It only occurs in cases of imminently lethal diseases. I think people come with a life plan and if it includes dying of a horrible disease (for whatever reasons of their own) and one takes that away from them they are not too happy about it. Possibly because now they have to do this all over again in another incarnation. Pure speculation of course but I cant think of anything else that makes sense.
